But now that faith has come\, we are no longer under a custodian; for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God\, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek\, there is neither slave nor free\, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s\, then you are Abraham’s offspring\, heirs according to promise. I mean that the heir\, as long as he is a child\, is no better than a slave\, though he is the owner of all the estate; but he is under guardians and trustees until the date set by the father. She had heard the reports about Jesus\, and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. For she said\, “If I touch even his garments\, I shall be made well.” And immediately the hemorrhage ceased; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. And Jesus\, perceiving in himself that power had gone forth from him\, immediately turned about in the crowd\, and said\, “Who touched my garments?” And his disciples said to him\, “You see the crowd pressing around you\, and yet you say\, ‘Who touched me?'” And he looked around to see who had done it. But the woman\, knowing what had been done to her\, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him\, and told him the whole truth. And he said to her\, “Daughter\, your faith has made you well; go in peace\, and be healed of your disease.”

For to this end we toil and suffer reproach\, because we have our hope set on the living God\, who is the Savior of all men\, especially of those who believe. Command and teach these things. Let no one despise your youth\, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct\, in love\, in faith\, in purity. Till I come\, attend to the public reading of scripture\, to preaching\, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have\, which was given you by prophetic utterance when the council of elders laid their hands upon you. Practice these duties\, devote yourself to them\, so that all may see your progress.\nGospel Reading: Luke 6:17-19\, 9:1-2\, 10:16-21\nAt that time\, a crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people came to Jesus from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon\, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. And all the crowd sought to touch him\, for power came forth from him and healed them all. And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases\, and sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal\, and He said to them: “He who hears you hears me\, and he who rejects you rejects me\, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” The seventy returned with joy\, saying\, “Lord\, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” And he said to them\, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold\, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions\, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you. For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness\, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs\, and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written\, “Therefore I will praise thee among the Gentiles\, and sing to thy name”; and again it is said\, “Rejoice\, O Gentiles\, with his people”; and again\, “Praise the Lord\, all Gentiles\, and let all the peoples praise him”; and further Isaiah says\, “The root of Jesse shall come\, he who rises to rule the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles hope.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing\, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. The queen of the South will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon\, and behold\, something greater than Solomon is here.\n“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man\, he passes through waterless places seeking rest\, but he finds none. Then he says\, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes he finds it empty\, swept\, and put in order. And He said to them\, “What is this conversation which you are holding with each other as you walk?” and they stood still\, looking sad. Then one of them\, named Cleopas\, answered Him\, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” And He said to them\, “What things?” And they said to him\, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth\, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people\, and how our chief priests and rulers delivered Him up to be condemned to death\, and crucified Him. For the Spirit searches everything\, even the depths of God. For what person knows a man’s thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world\, but the Spirit which is from God\, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit\, comparing spiritual things with spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit. The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God\, for they are folly to him\, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man judges all things\, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. But I\, brethren\, could not address you as spiritual men\, but as men of the flesh\, as babes in Christ. Τότε αφείς τους όχλους ήλθεν εις την οικίαν ο Ιησούς.
