And behold\, a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment; for she said to herself\, “If I only touch his garment\, I shall be made well.” Jesus turned\, and seeing her he said\, “Take heart\, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well. And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house\, and saw the flute players\, and the crowd making a tumult\, he said\, “Depart; for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. But when the crowd had been put outside\, he went in and took her by the hand\, and the girl arose. And the report of this went through all that district.

Αμήν.\nΑνάγνωσις Ευαγγελίου: Κατά Ματθαίον  9:18-26\nΤω καιρώ εκείνω\, άρχων εις προσελθών προσεκύνει αυτώ λέγων ότι η θυγάτηρ μου άρτι ετελεύτησεν· αλλά ελθών επίθες την χείρά σου επ᾿ αυτήν και ζήσεται. καί εγερθείς ο ᾿Ιησούς ηκολούθησεν αυτώ και οι μαθηταί αυτού. Και ιδού γυνή\, αιμορροούσα δώδεκα έτη\, προσελθούσα όπισθεν ήψατο του κρασπέδου του ιματίου αυτού. έλεγε γαρ εν εαυτή\, εάν μόνον άψωμαι του ιματίου αυτού\, σωθήσομαι. ο δε ᾿Ιησούς επιστραφείς και ιδών αυτήν είπε· θάρσει\, θύγατερ· η πίστις σου σέσωκέ σε. και εσώθη η γυνή από της ώρας εκείνης. Και ελθών ο ᾿Ιησούς εις την οικίαν του άρχοντος και ιδών τους αυλητάς και τον όχλον θορυβούμενον\, λέγει αυτοίς· αναχωρείτε· ου γαρ απέθανε το κοράσιον\, αλλά καθεύδει. και κατεγέλων αυτού. ότε δε εξεβλήθη ο όχλος\, εισελθών εκράτησε της χειρός αυτής\, και ηγέρθη το κοράσιον. καί εξήλθεν η φήμη αύτη εις όλην την γήν εκείνην.
