And they sent their disciples to him\, along with the Herodians\, saying\, “Teacher\, we know that you are true\, and teach the way of God truthfully\, and care for no man; for you do not regard the position of men. Tell us\, then\, what you think. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar\, or not?” But Jesus\, aware of their malice\, said\, “Why put me to the test\, you hypocrites? Show me the money for the tax.” And they brought him a coin. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. They bind heavy burdens\, hard to bear\, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger. They do all their deeds to be seen by men; for they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long\, and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues\, and salutations in the market places\, and being called rabbi by men\, but you are not to be called rabbi\, for you have one teacher\, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth\, for you have one Father\, who is in heaven. Neither be called masters\, for you have one master\, the Christ. He who is greatest among you shall be your servant; whoever exalts himself will be humbled\, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.\n“But woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for you devour widows’ houses and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive the greater condemnation. Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither enter yourselves\, nor allow those who would enter to go in. Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for you traverse sea and land to make a single proselyte\, and when he becomes a proselyte\, you make him twice as much a child of Gehenna as yourselves.\n“Woe to you\, blind guides\, who say\, ‘If any one swears by the temple\, it is nothing; but if any one swears by the gold of the temple\, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind fools! For which is greater\, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred? And you say\, ‘If any one swears by the altar\, it is nothing; but if any one swears by the gift that is on the altar\, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind men! For which is greater\, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred? So he who swears by the altar\, swears by it and by everything on it; and he who swears by the temple\, swears by it and by him who dwells in it; and he who swears by heaven\, swears by the throne of God and by him who sits upon it.\n“Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for you tithe mint and dill and cumin\, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law\, justice and mercy and faith; these you ought to have done without neglecting the others. You blind guides\, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! “Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for you cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate\, but inside they are full of extortion and rapacity. Woe to you\, scribes and Pharisees\, hypocrites! for you are like white-washed tombs\, which outwardly appear beautiful\, but within they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Fill up\, then\, the measure of your fathers. You serpents\, you brood of vipers\, how are you to escape being sentenced to Gehenna? Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes\, some of whom you will kill and crucify\, and some you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from town to town\, that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth\, from the blood of innocent Abel to the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachiah\, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. Truly\, I say to you\, all this will come upon this generation.\n“O Jerusalem\, Jerusalem\, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings\, and you would not! Behold\, your house is forsaken and desolate. For I tell you\, you will not see me again\, until you say\, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”\nGospel Reading: Matthew 24:36-51; 25:1-46; 26:1-2\nThe Lord said to his disciples\, “Of that day and hour no one knows\, not even the angels of heaven\, but the Father only. As were the days of Noah\, so will be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking\, marrying and giving in marriage\, until the day when Noah entered the ark\, and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away\, so will be the coming of the Son of man. Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left. Watch therefore\, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this\, that if the householder had known in what part of the night the thief was coming\, he would have watched and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.\n“Who then is the faithful and wise servant\, whom his master has set over his household\, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. Truly\, I say to you\, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that wicked servant says to himself\, ‘My master is delayed\,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants\, and eats and drinks with the drunken\, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know\, and will cut him in pieces\, and put him with the hypocrites; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.\n“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be compared to ten maidens who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish\, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps\, they took no oil with them; but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed\, they all slumbered and slept. But at midnight there was a cry\, ‘Behold\, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those maidens rose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise\, ‘Give us some of your oil\, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise replied\, ‘Perhaps there will not be enough for us and for you; go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy\, the bridegroom came\, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut. Afterward the other maidens came also\, saying\, ‘Lord\, Lord\, open to us.’ But he replied\, ‘Truly\, I say to you\, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore\, for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of man shall come.\n“For it will be as when a man going on a journey called his servants and entrusted to them his property; to one he gave five talents\, to another two\, to another one\, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them; and he made five talents more. So also\, he who had the two talents made two talents more. But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money. Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward\, bringing five talents more\, saying\, ‘Master\, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ His master said to him\, ‘Well done\, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little\, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’ And he also who had the two talents came forward\, saying\, ‘Master\, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ His master said to him\, ‘Well done\, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little\, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’ He also who had received the one talent came forward\, saying\, ‘Master\, I knew you to be a hard man\, reaping where you did not sow\, and gathering where you did not winnow; so I was afraid\, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’ But his master answered him\, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed\, and gather where I have not winnowed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers\, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. So take the talent from him\, and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to every one who has will more be given\, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not\, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.’\n“When the Son of man comes in his glory\, and all the angels with him\, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations\, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats\, and he will place the sheep at his right hand\, but the goats at the left. Then the King will say to those at his right hand\, ‘Come\, O blessed of my Father\, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food\, I was thirsty and you gave me drink\, I was a stranger and you welcomed me\, I was naked and you clothed me\, I was sick and you visited me\, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him\, ‘Lord\, when did we see you hungry and feed you\, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you\, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them\, ‘Truly\, I say to you\, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren\, you did it to me.’ Then he will say to those at his left hand\, ‘Depart from me\, you cursed\, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry and you gave me no food\, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink\, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me\, naked and you did not clothe me\, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer\, ‘Lord\, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison\, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them\, ‘Truly\, I say to you\, as you did it not to one of the least of these\, you did it not to me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment\, but the righteous into eternal life.”\nWhen Jesus had finished all these sayings\, he said to his disciples\, “You know that after two days the Passover is coming\, and the Son of man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

Και αποστέλλουσιν αυτώ τους μαθητάς αυτών μετά των Ηρωδιανών λέγοντες· Διδάσκαλε\, οίδαμεν ότι αληθής ει και την οδόν του Θεού εν αληθεία διδάσκεις\, και ου μέλει σοι περί ουδενός· ου γαρ βλέπεις εις πρόσωπον ανθρώπου· ειπέ ούν ημίν\, τί σοι δοκεί; Έξεστι δούναι κήνσον Καίσαρι ή ού· Γνούς δε ο Ιησούς την πονηρίαν αυτών είπε· Τί με πειράζετε\, υποκριταί;  Επιδείξατέ μοι το νόμισμα του κήνσου. Οι δε προσήνεγκαν αυτώ δηνάριον. Και λέγει αυτοίς· Τίνος η εικών αύτη και η επιγραφή;  Λέγουσιν αυτώ· Καίσαρος· Τότε λέγει αυτοίς· Απόδοτε ούν τα Καίσαρος Καίσαρι και τα του Θεού τω Θεώ. Και ακούσαντες εθαύμασαν\, και αφέντες αυτόν απήλθον. Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα προσήλθον αυτώ Σαδδουκαίοι\, οι λέγοντες μή είναι ανάστασιν\, και επηρώτησαν αυτόν λέγοντες· Διδάσκαλε\, Μωσής είπεν\, «εάν τις αποθάνη μή έχων τέκνα\, επιγαμβρεύσει ο αδελφός αυτού την γυναίκα αυτού και αναστήσει σπέρμα τω αδελφώ αυτού».  ήσαν δε παρ’ ημίν επτά αδελφοί· και ο πρώτος γαμήσας ετελεύτησε\, και μή έχων σπέρμα αφήκε την γυναίκα αυτού τω αδελφώ αυτού· ομοίως και ο δεύτερος και ο τρίτος\, έως των επτά.  ύστερον δε πάντων απέθανε και η γυνή.  Εν τη ούν αναστάσει τίνος των επτά έσται η γυνή; Πάντες γαρ έσχον αυτήν. Αποκριθείς δε ο Ιησούς είπεν αυτοίς· Πλανάσθε μή ειδότες τάς γραφάς μηδέ την δύναμιν του Θεού· Εν γαρ τη αναστάσει ούτε γαμούσιν ούτε εκγαμίζονται\, αλλ’ ως άγγελοι Θεού εν ουρανώ εισι. Περί δε της αναστάσεως των νεκρών ουκ ανέγνωτε το ρηθέν υμίν υπό του Θεού λέγοντος\, εγώ ειμι ο Θεός Αβραάμ και ο Θεός Ισαάκ και ο Θεός Ιακώβ; Ουκ έστιν ο Θεός Θεός νεκρών\, αλλά ζώντων. Και ακούσαντες οι όχλοι εξεπλήσσοντο επί τη διδαχή αυτού. Οι δε Φαρισαίοι ακούσαντες ότι εφίμωσε τους Σαδδουκαίους\, συνήχθησαν επί το αυτό\, και επηρώτησεν εις εξ αυτών\, νομικός\, πειράζων αυτόν και λέγων· Διδάσκαλε\, ποία εντολή μεγάλη εν τω νόμω; ῾Ο δε Ιησούς έφη αυτώ· Αγαπήσεις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου εν όλη τη καρδία σου και εν όλη τη ψυχή σου και εν όλη τη διανοία σου· αύτη εστί πρώτη και μεγάλη εντολή. Δευτέρα δε ομοία αυτή· αγαπήσεις τον πλησίον σου ως σεαυτόν. Εν ταύταις ταις δυσίν εντολαίς όλος ο νόμος και οι προφήται κρέμανται. Συνηγμένων δε των Φαρισαίων επηρώτησεν αυτούς ο Ιησούς λέγων· Τί υμίν δοκεί περί του Χριστού; Τίνος υιός εστι; Λέγουσιν αυτώ· Του Δαυῒδ. Λέγει αυτοίς· Πώς ούν Δαυῒδ εν Πνεύματι Κύριον καλεί αυτόν λέγων\, είπεν ο Κύριος τω Κυρίω μου\, κάθου εκ δεξιών μου έως άν θώ τους εχθρούς σου υποπόδιον των ποδών σου; Ει ούν Δαυῒδ καλεί αυτόν Κύριον\, πώς υιός αυτού εστι; Και ουδείς εδύνατο αυτώ αποκριθήναι λόγον\, ουδέ ετόλμησέ τις απ’ εκείνης της ημέρας επερωτήσαι αυτόν ουκέτι. Τότε ο Ιησούς ελάλησε τοις όχλοις και τοις μαθηταίς αυτού λέγων· Επί της Μωσέως καθέδρας εκάθισαν οι γραμματείς και οι Φαρισαίοι. Πάντα ούν όσα εάν είπωσιν υμίν τηρείν\, τηρείτε και ποιείτε\, κατά δε τα έργα αυτών μή ποιείτε· λέγουσι γάρ\, και ου ποιούσι. Δεσμεύουσιν γαρ φορτία βαρέα και επιτιθέασιν επί τους ώμους των ανθρώπων\, τω δε δακτύλω αυτών ου θέλουσι κινήσαι αυτά. Πάντα δε τα έργα αυτών ποιούσι πρός το θεαθήναι τοις ανθρώποις\, πλατύνουσι γαρ τα φυλακτήρια αυτών και μεγαλύνουσι τα κράσπεδα των ιματίων αυτών\,  φιλούσι δε την πρωτοκλισίαν εν τοις δείπνοις και τάς πρωτοκαθεδρίας εν ταις συναγωγαίς  και τους ασπασμούς εν ταις αγοραίς και καλείσθαι υπό των ανθρώπων\, ραββί ραββί.  υμείς δε μή κληθήτε ραββί· εις γάρ υμών εστιν ο διδάσκαλος\, ο Χριστός· πάντες δε υμείς αδελφοί εστε. Και πατέρα μή καλέσητε υμών επί της γής· εις γάρ εστιν ο πατήρ υμών\, ο εν τοις ουρανοίς. Μηδέ κληθήτε καθηγηταί· εις γάρ υμών εστιν ο καθηγητής\, ο Χριστός. ῾Ο δε μείζων υμών έσται υμών διάκονος. Όστις δε υψώσει εαυτόν ταπεινωθήσεται\, και όστις ταπεινώσει εαυτόν υψωθήσεται. Ουαί δε υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι κατεσθίετε τάς οικίας των χηρών και προφάσει μακρά προσευχόμενοι· διά τούτο λήψεσθε περισσότερον κρίμα. Ουαί υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι κλείετε την βασιλείαν των ουρανών έμπροσθεν των ανθρώπων· υμείς γαρ ουκ εισέρχεσθε\, ουδέ τους εισερχομένους αφίετε εισελθείν. Ουαί υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι περιάγετε την θάλασσαν και την ξηράν ποιήσαι ένα προσήλυτον\, και όταν γένηται\, ποιείτε αυτόν υιόν γεέννης διπλότερον υμών. Ουαί υμίν\, οδηγοί τυφλοί\, οι λέγοντες· ός άν ομόση εν τω ναώ\, ουδέν εστιν\, ός δ’ άν ομόση εν τω χρυσώ του ναού οφείλει. Μωροί και τυφλοί! τίς γαρ μείζων εστίν\, ο χρυσός ή ο ναός ο αγιάζων τον χρυσόν; Καί· ός άν ομόση εν τω θυσιαστηρίω\, ουδέν εστιν\, ός δ’ άν ομόση εν τω δώρω τω επάνω αυτού\, οφείλει. Μωροί και τυφλοί! τί γαρ μείζον\, το δώρον ή το θυσιαστήριον το αγιάζον το δώρον; ῾Ο ούν ομόσας εν τω θυσιαστηρίω ομνύει εν αυτώ και εν πάσι τοις επάνω αυτού· Και ο ομόσας εν τω ναώ ομνύει εν αυτώ και εν τω κατοικήσαντι αυτόν·  Και ο ομόσας εν τω ουρανώ ομνύει εν τω θρόνω του Θεού και εν τω καθημένω επάνω αυτού. Ουαί υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι αποδεκατούτε το ηδύοσμον και το άνηθον και το κύμινον\, και αφήκατε τα βαρύτερα του νόμου\, την κρίσιν και τον έλεον και την πίστιν· ταύτα δε έδει ποιήσαι κακείνα μή αφιέναι. ῾Οδηγοί τυφλοί\, οι διυλίζοντες τον κώνωπα\, την δε κάμηλον καταπίνοντες! Ουαί υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι καθαρίζετε το έξωθεν του ποτηρίου και της παροψίδος\, έσωθεν δε γέμουσιν εξ αρπαγής και αδικίας. Φαρισαίε τυφλέ\, καθάρισον πρώτον το εντός του ποτηρίου και της παροψίδος\, ίνα γένηται και το εκτός αυτών καθαρόν.  Ουαί υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι παρομοιάζετε τάφοις κεκονιαμένοις\, οίτινες έξωθεν μέν φαίνονται ωραίοι\, έσωθεν δε γέμουσιν οστέων νεκρών και πάσης ακαθαρσίας. Ούτω και υμείς έξωθεν μέν φαίνεσθε τοις ανθρώποις δίκαιοι\, έσωθεν δέ μεστοί εστε υποκρίσεως και ανομίας. Ουαί υμίν\, γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι υποκριταί\, ότι οικοδομείτε τους τάφους των προφητών και κοσμείτε τα μνημεία των δικαίων\, και λέγετε· ει ήμεν εν ταις ημέραις των πατέρων ημών\, ουκ άν ήμεν κοινωνοί αυτών εν τω αίματι των προφητών. Ώστε μαρτυρείτε εαυτοίς &#Ανάγνωσις Ευαγγελίου: Κατά Ματθαίον  24:36-51\, 25:1-46\, 26:1-2\nΕίπεν ο Κυριος τοις εαυτού μαθηταίς· Περί δε της ημέρας εκείνης και ώρας ουδείς οίδεν\, ουδέ οι άγγελοι των ουρανών\, ει μή ο πατήρ μου μόνος. ώσπερ δε αι ημέραι του Νώε\, ούτως έσται και η παρουσία του υιού του ανθρώπου. ώσπερ γαρ ήσαν εν ταις ημέραις ταις πρό του κατακλυσμού τρώγοντες και πίνοντες\, γαμούντες και εκγαμίζοντες\, άχρι ής ημέρας εισήλθε Νώε εις την κιβωτόν\, και ουκ έγνωσαν έως ήλθεν ο κατακλυσμός και ήρεν άπαντας\, ούτως έσται και η παρουσία του υιού του ανθρώπου. τότε δύο έσονται εν τω αγρώ\, ο εις παραλαμβάνεται και ο εις αφίεται· δύο αλήθουσαι εν τω μυλώνι\, μία παραλαμβάνεται και μία αφίεται. γρηγορείτε ούν\, ότι ουκ οίδατε ποία ώρα ο Κύριος υμών έρχεται. ᾿Εκείνο δε γινώσκετε ότι ει ᾔδει ο οικοδεσπότης ποία φυλακή ο κλέπτης έρχεται\, εγρηγόρησεν άν και ουκ άν είασε διορυγήναι την οικίαν αυτού. διά τούτο και υμείς γίνεσθε έτοιμοι\, ότι ή ώρα ου δοκείτε ο υιός του ανθρώπου έρχεται. Τίς άρα εστίν ο πιστός δούλος και φρόνιμος\, όν κατέστησεν ο κύριος αυτού επί της θεραπείας αυτού του διδόναι αυτοίς την τροφήν εν καιρώ; μακάριος ο δούλος εκείνος όν ελθών ο κύριος αυτού ευρήσει ποιούντα ούτως. αμήν λέγω υμίν ότι επί πάσι τοις υπάρχουσιν αυτού καταστήσει αυτόν. εάν δε είπη ο κακός δούλος εκείνος εν τη καρδία αυτού\, χρονίζει ο κύριός μου ελθείν\, και άρξηται τύπτειν τους συνδούλους αυτού\, εσθίη δε και πίνη μετά των μεθυόντων\, ήξει ο κύριος του δούλου εκείνου εν ημέρα ή ου προσδοκά και εν ώρα ή ου γινώσκει\, και διχοτομήσει αυτόν\, και το μέρος αυτού μετά των υποκριτών θήσει· εκεί έσται ο κλαυθμός και ο βρυγμός των οδόντων.\nΤότε ομοιωθήσεται η βασιλεία των ουρανών δέκα παρθένοις\, αίτινες λαβούσαι τάς λαμπάδας αυτών εξήλθον εις απάντησιν του νυμφίου. πέντε δε ήσαν εξ αυτών φρόνιμοι και αι πέντε μωραί. αίτινες μωραί λαβούσαι τάς λαμπάδας εαυτών ουκ έλαβον μεθ᾿ εαυτών έλαιον· αι δε φρόνιμοι έλαβον έλαιον εν τοις αγγείοις αυτών μετά των λαμπάδων αυτών. χρονίζοντος δε του νυμφίου ενύσταξαν πάσαι και εκάθευδον. μέσης δε νυκτός κραυγή γέγονεν· ιδού ο νυμφίος έρχεται\, εξέρχεσθε εις απάντησιν αυτού. τότε ηγέρθησαν πάσαι αι παρθένοι εκείναι και εκόσμησαν τάς λαμπάδας αυτών. αι δε μωραί ταις φρονίμοις είπον· δότε ημίν εκ του ελαίου υμών\, ότι αι λαμπάδες ημών σβέννυνται. απεκρίθησαν δε αι φρόνιμοι λέγουσαι· μήποτε ουκ αρκέση ημίν και υμίν· πορεύεσθε δε μάλλον πρός τους πωλούντας και αγοράσατε εαυταίς. απερχομένων δε αυτών αγοράσαι ήλθεν ο νυμφίος και αι έτοιμοι εισήλθον μετ᾿ αυτού εις τους γάμους\, και εκλείσθη η θύρα. ύστερον δε έρχονται και αι λοιπαί παρθένοι λέγουσαι· κύριε κύριε\, άνοιξον ημίν. ο δε αποκριθείς είπεν· αμήν λέγω υμίν\, ουκ οίδα υμάς. γρηγορείτε ούν\, ότι ουκ οίδατε την ημέραν ουδέ την ώραν εν ή ο υιός του ανθρώπου έρχεται.\n῞Ωσπερ γαρ άνθρωπος αποδημών εκάλεσε τους ιδίους δούλους και παρέδωκεν αυτοίς τα υπάρχοντα αυτού\, καί ώ μέν έδωκε πέντε τάλαντα\, ώ δε δύο\, ώ δε έν\, εκάστω κατά την ιδίαν δύναμιν\, και απεδήμησεν ευθέως. πορευθείς δε ο τα πέντε τάλαντα λαβών ειργάσατο εν αυτοίς και εποίησεν άλλα πέντε τάλαντα. ωσαύτως και ο τα δύο εκέρδησε και αυτός άλλα δύο. ο δε το έν λαβών απελθών ώρυξεν εν τη γή και απέκρυψε το αργύριον του κυρίου αυτού. μετά δε χρόνον πολύν έρχεται ο κύριος των δούλων εκείνων και συναίρει μετ᾿ αυτών λόγον. καί προσελθών ο τα πέντε τάλαντα λαβών προσήνεγκεν άλλα πέντε τάλαντα λέγων· κύριε\, πέντε τάλαντά μοι παρέδωκας· ίδε άλλα πέντε τάλαντα εκέρδησα επ᾿ αυτοίς. έφη αυτώ ο κύριος αυτού· εύ\, δούλε αγαθέ και πιστέ! επί ολίγα ής πιστός\, επί πολλών σε καταστήσω· είσελθε εις την χαράν του κυρίου σου. προσελθών δε και ο τα δύο τάλαντα λαβών είπε· κύριε\, δύο τάλαντά μοι παρέδωκας· ίδε άλλα δύο τάλαντα εκέρδησα επ᾿ αυτοίς. έφη αυτώ ο κύριος αυτού· εύ\, δούλε αγαθέ και πιστέ! επί ολίγα ής πιστός\, επί πολλών σε καταστήσω· είσελθε εις την χαράν του κυρίου σου. προσελθών δε και ο το έν τάλαντον ειληφώς είπε· κύριε· έγνων σε ότι σκληρός ει άνθρωπος\, θερίζων όπου ουκ έσπειρας και συνάγων όθεν ου διεσκόρπισας· καί φοβηθείς απελθών έκρυψα το τάλαντόν σου εν τη γή· ίδε έχεις το σόν. αποκριθείς δε ο κύριος αυτού είπεν αυτώ· πονηρέ δούλε και οκνηρέ! ᾔδεις ότι θερίζω όπου ουκ έσπειρα και συνάγω όθεν ου διεσκόρπισα! έδει ούν σε βαλείν το αργύριόν μου τοις τραπεζίταις\, και ελθών εγώ εκομισάμην άν το εμόν σύν τόκω. άρατε ούν απ᾿ αυτού το τάλαντον και δότε τω έχοντι τα δέκα τάλαντα. τώ γαρ έχοντι παντί δοθήσεται και περισσευθήσεται\, από δε του μή έχοντος και ό έχει αρθήσεται απ᾿ αυτού. καί τον αχρείον δούλον εκβάλετε εις το σκότος το εξώτερον· εκεί έσται ο κλαυθμός και ο βρυγμός των οδόντων.\n῞Οταν δε έλθη ο υιός του ανθρώπου εν τη δόξη αυτού και πάντες οι άγιοι άγγελοι μετ᾿ αυτού\, τότε καθίσει επί θρόνου δόξης αυτού\, καί συναχθήσεται έμπροσθεν αυτού πάντα τα έθνη\, και αφοριεί αυτούς απ᾿ αλλήλων ώσπερ ο ποιμήν αφορίζει τα πρόβατα από των ερίφων\, καί στήσει τα μέν πρόβατα εκ δεξιών αυτού\, τα δε ερίφια εξ ευωνύμων. τότε ερεί ο βασιλεύς τοις εκ δεξιών αυτού· δεύτε οι ευλογημένοι του πατρός μου\, κληρονομήσατε την ητοιμασμένην υμίν βασιλείαν από καταβολής κόσμου. επείνασα γάρ\, και εδώκατέ μοι φαγείν\, εδίψησα\, και εποτίσατέ με\, ξένος ήμην\, και συνηγάγετέ με\, γυμνός\, και περιεβάλετέ με\, ησθένησα\, και επεσκέψασθέ με\, εν φυλακή ήμην\, και ήλθετε πρός με. τότε αποκριθήσονται αυτώ οι δίκαιοι λέγοντες· κύριε\, πότε σε είδομεν πεινώντα και εθρέψαμεν\, ή διψώντα και εποτίσαμεν; πότε δέ σε είδομεν ξένον και συνηγάγομεν\, ή γυμνόν και περιεβάλομεν; πότε δέ σε είδομεν ασθενή ή εν φυλακή\, και ήλθομεν πρός σε; καί αποκριθείς ο βασιλεύς ερεί αυτοίς· αμήν λέγω υμίν\, εφ᾿ όσον εποιήσατε ενί τούτων των αδελφών μου των ελαχίστων\, εμοί εποιήσατε. τότε ερεί και τοις εξ ευωνύμων· πορεύεσθε απ᾿ εμού οι κατηραμένοι εις το πύρ το αιώνιον το ητοιμασμένον τω διαβόλω και τοις αγγέλοις αυτού. επείνασα γάρ\, και ουκ εδώκατέ μοι φαγείν\, εδίψησα\, και ουκ εποτίσατέ με\, ξένος ήμην\, και ου συνηγάγετέ με\, γυμνός\, και ου περιεβάλετέ με\, ασθενής και εν φυλακή\, και ουκ επεσκέψασθέ με. τότε αποκριθή&si
