And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy\, every one who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem\, when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.  Then the LORD will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day\, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy and a pavilion.  It will be for a shade by day from the heat\, and for a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.  Let me sing for my beloved a love song concerning his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a very fertile hill. Ανάγνωσις Παλαιᾱς Διαθήκης: Γένεσις 3:21-4:7\nΚαι εποίησε Κύριος ο Θεός τω ᾿Αδάμ και τη γυναικί αυτού χιτώνας δερματίνους και ενέδυσεν αυτούς. και είπεν ο Θεός· ιδού ᾿Αδάμ γέγονεν ως εις εξ ημών\, του γινώσκειν καλόν και πονηρόν· και νύν μή ποτε εκτείνη την χείρα αυτού και λάβη από του ξύλου της ζωής και φάγη και ζήσεται εις τον αιώνα. και εξαπέστειλεν αυτόν Κύριος ο Θεός εκ του παραδείσου της τρυφής εργάζεσθαι την γήν\, εξ ής ελήφθη. και εξέβαλε τον ᾿Αδάμ και κατῴκισεν αυτόν απέναντι του παραδείσου της τρυφής και έταξε τα Χερουβίμ και την φλογίνην ρομφαίαν την στρεφομένην φυλάσσειν την οδόν του ξύλου της ζωής.\n᾿Αδάμ δε έγνω Εύαν την γυναίκα αυτού\, και συλλαβούσα έτεκε τον Κάϊν και είπεν· εκτησάμην άνθρωπον διά του Θεού. και προσέθηκε τεκείν το αδελφόν αυτού\, τον ῎Αβελ. και εγένετο ῎Αβελ ποιμήν προβάτων\, Κάϊν δε ήν εργαζόμενος την γήν. και εγένετο μεθ᾿ ημέρας ήνεγκε Κάϊν από των καρπών της γής θυσίαν τω Κυρίω\, και ῎Αβελ ήνεγκε και αυτός από των πρωτοτόκων των προβάτων αυτού και από των στεάτων αυτών. και επείδεν ο Θεός επί ῎Αβελ και επί τοις δώροις αυτού\, επί δε Κάϊν και επί ταις θυσίαις αυτού ου προσέσχε. και ελυπήθη Κάϊν λίαν\, και συνέπεσε τω προσώπω αυτού. και είπε Κύριος ο Θεός τω Κάϊν· ίνα τί περίλυπος εγένου\, και ίνα τί συνέπεσε το πρόσωπόν σου; ουκ εάν ορθώς προσενέγκης\, ορθώς δε μή διέλης\, ήμαρτες; ησύχασον· πρός σέ η αποστροφή αυτού\, και σύ άρξεις αυτού.\nΑνάγνωσις Παλαιᾱς Διαθήκης: Παροιμίαι 3:34-4:22\nΚύριος υπερηφάνοις αντιτάσσεται\, ταπεινοίς δε δίδωσιν χάριν. δόξαν σοφοί κληρονομήσουσιν\, οι δε ασεβείς ύψωσαν ατιμίαν.\n᾽Ακούσατε\, παίδες\, παιδείαν πατρός και προσέχετε γνώναι έννοιαν· δώρον γαρ αγαθόν δωρούμαι υμίν\, τον εμόν νόμον μή εγκαταλίπητε. υιός γαρ εγενόμην καγώ πατρί υπήκοος και αγαπώμενος εν προσώπω μητρός\, οί εδίδασκόν με και έλεγον· ερειδέτω ο ημέτερος λόγος εις σήν καρδίαν· φύλασσε εντολάς\, μή επιλάθη μηδέ παρίδης ρήσιν εμού στόματος\, μηδέ εγκαταλίπης αυτήν\, και ανθέξεταί σου· εράσθητι αυτής\, και τηρήσει σε· περιχαράκωσον αυτήν\, και υψώσει σε· τίμησον αυτήν\, ίνα σε περιλάβη\, ίνα δώ τη σή κεφαλή στέφανον χαρίτων\, στεφάνω δε τρυφής υπερασπίση σου. ῎Ακουε\, υιέ\, και δέξαι εμούς λόγους\, και πληθυνθήσεται έτη ζωής σου\, ίνα σοι γένωνται πολλαί οδοί βίου· οδούς γαρ σοφίας διδάσκω σε\, εμβιβάζω δέ σε τροχιαίς ορθαίς. εάν γαρ πορεύη\, ου συγκλεισθήσεταί σου τα διαβήματα\, εάν δε τρέχης ου κοπιάσεις. επιλαβού εμής παιδείας\, μή αφής\, αλλά φύλαξον αυτήν σεαυτώ εις ζωήν σου. οδούς ασεβών μή επέλθης\, μηδέ ζηλώσης οδούς παρανόμων· εν ώ άν τόπω στρατοπεδεύσωσι\, μή επέλθης εκεί\, έκκλινον δε απ᾿ αυτών και παράλλαξον. ου γαρ μή υπνώσωσιν\, εάν μή κακοποιήσωσιν\, αφῄρηται ο ύπνος αυτών\, και ου κοιμώνται· οίδε γαρ σιτούνται σίτα ασεβείας\, οίνω δε παρανόμω μεθύσκονται. αι δε οδοί των δικαίων ομοίως φωτί λάμπουσι\, προπορεύονται και φωτίζουσιν\, έως κατορθώση η ημέρα· αι δε οδοί των ασεβών σκοτειναί\, ουκ οίδασι πώς προσκόπτουσιν. Υιέ\, εμή ρήσει πρόσεχε\, τοις δε εμοίς λόγοις παράβαλλε σόν ούς\, όπως μή εκλίπωσί σε αι πηγαί σου\, φύλασσε αυτάς εν καρδία· ζωή γάρ εστι τοις ευρίσκουσιν αυτάς και πάση σαρκί ίασις.
